Sesibi
A Nubian village southward of Soleb with around 50 km, on the west bank of the Nile and across the Nile to Delgo town. Remains of a new kingdom settlement.
A remains of a temple built by Akhenaton, formerly Amenhotep IV,an Egyptian pharaoh , who ruled for 17 years and died perhaps in 1336 BC or 1334 BC,the temple he built was designed for the worship of Aten, the new god bringing monotheisms to Egyptians traditions but sooner was accepted after his death and temples were dismantled and hidden .
The current temple remains to overlook a beautiful scenic to the village and the Nile with only very few columns left.
